Unwanted Texts on Cell Phones

We have received several reports of Text messages from someone purporting to be our CEO.

This can happen, no matter who they "say" they are, but rest assured, the person they say they are - isn’t texting employees on their personal/business cell phones.

 

Unfortunately, this kind of thing happens more frequently than people realize and is extremely difficult to prevent.

 

Several mobile service providers allow you to block the sender by forwarding unwanted texts to 7726 (or "SPAM"). 

This will help them spot and block these messages.

 

On Android phones, long-pressing the unwanted text, and tapping Report spam, or Tap the three-dot icon at the top and select Forward, Will text the new message to 7726
