How to change Citrix/CVAD browser connection back to the full Workspace client

Please note - These are instructions for changing the connection method from in the browser (light version) which is not fully supported and known to have issues with audio, teleconferencing, video playback, and other interactive multimedia features. Using the full workspace client method is always the recommended method to ensure the best performance and experience.


Example Light Version connection in a Chrome Browser

*some features are unsupported or will offer degraded performance


Follow these instructions below to change your settings to use the full Citrix Workspace client.


1. Logon to the https://xen.grhc.org Storefront page

2. Access the account settings using the GEAR in the upper-right corner

3. Once in account settings, Click on Change Workspace App


4. The page will refresh... from the new page Click on Detect Citrix Workspace App


5. The next page, either wait for the system to auto-detect, but if you do have the Workspace software installed you can click on "Already Installed"


NOTE - Please do not use Light Version unless directed by IT Staff for troubleshooting.


6. The page will auto refresh and you can launch the CVAD Desktop
7. If working correctly you will notice the loading prompt appear in the lower-right notification area


8. When loaded you should notice the CVAD Desktop or CVAD Citrix App loads in its own application window and not as a tab on a browser
